How AI-powered Cloud Systems Influence Successful System Transitions in SMEs: Through the Lens of Enterprise Architecture
by Xianpei Liang, CHI-JU CHEN, Shufan Guo, Yishan Liu, Jiashu Liu and Rod Dilnutt
The limitations inherent in Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) can have negative impacts on their ability to adopt advancing technologies such as Cloud Services and Artificial Intelligence. In this paper from students at the University of Melbourne, a framework is proposed to help alleviate these impacts through the use of the TOGAF ADM and Gartner’s PACE Layered categorisation of systems, resulting in greater business and IT alignment, increased governance, reduced risk and stronger uptake of solutions by employees.
