Can Enterprise Architecture Defend Against Supply Chain Attacks? A Retail Sector Perspective
by Fangping Ning, Hairuo Zhao, Jiawei Wang, Yiran Ai, Rod Dilnutt and Leila Meratian Esfahani
This paper by students from the University of Melbourne examines the risk of supply chain attacks (SCA) on organisations in the retail sector and now enterprise architecture (EA) can help mitigate it. Two recent cases of SCA are examined in detail: SolarWinds and Blue Yonder, and recommendations are made on how to apply EA to retail systems and their security to reduce both the risk and damage of SCAs.
