Systematic Literature Review of Enterprise Architecture Change Management in the Australian Public Sector
by Zilin Chen, Grace Nghiem, Rachel Guo, Yijing Zhang, Ronald Li and Rod Dilnutt
Summary
The delivery of public services by government agencies across Australia is highly complex and challenging. Ensuring they continue to evolve with changing expectations of citizens is even more so, and increasingly difficult in a landscape of escalating cyber threats. It is this combination of factors, along with the ever-present issues of effective communication within and between agencies, that is the focus of this paper from students at the University of Melbourne. The authors propose a series of improvements in the delivery of change across the public sector business and technology landscape, covering aspects such as enhanced communication and workflow, better integration of systems, addressing human impact concerns related to change and an uplift in cybersecurity.
