by Zitong Wang, Yuhao Zhao, Yijie Long, Xueyan Shi, Xiyun Chen and Rod Dilnutt
Summary
Energy consumption is a significant cost to modern large enterprises. With the advent of IoT and the proliferation of connected, intelligent devices and systems, organisations can look to reduce these costs whilst helping to meet ESG goals through the adoption of Smart Office concepts. In this paper by students at the University of Melbourne, we see how a structured approach based on the TOGAF ADM can help in understanding the current business and technology landscapes, and how improvements can be found to create a more efficient and sustainable organisation.
