Summary
DevOps has risen in popularity in the last few years with its promise to cut development and maintenance times, automate testing and deployment tasks and cut time to market. This paper from students at the University of Melbourne discusses how DevOps aligns with existing EA frameworks, specifically Zachman Framework and TOGAF in the banking and finance industry. The paper also examines the case study of Capital One’s adoption of DevOps and its move from multiple on-premises locations into AWS.
